>  My name is Laurent Ziegler. I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Vienna, Austria, working across photography, painting, sustainable land art, and performance. My work explores themes of human connection, memory, and the passage of time. I studied Political Science alongside training in contemporary dance and film. My practice finds its home in the imaginative space un|still.

I love working collaboratively, it is at the heart of how I approach a project. I have worked with artists across Europe and initiated an educational program for photography at the One World Foundation in Sri Lanka. A nomad at heart, my work is exhibited internationally. I also engage as a consultant, lived-experience advocate, and speaker on child trafficking.

I am the author of The Childhood of My Memory (2025), a print publication that offers an autobiographical analysis of traumatic experiences of trafficking and abuse, captured through paintings, drawings, text, and photography.
